I happen to really like the South Side on Lamar Building. (If I stay in dallas after next year, then this is one of the places I am looking to stay, but I need more money!!)
Anyway the art there is rather good. Local too!! On my one my random quest with my Image Consultant and BestFriend/Twin, I noticed this as we were looking for an event (that was not there. I got the dates mixed up.. as always!). I got to take a glance that this was a very cool place and loved the art.
Currently there is a good artist. I have actually read about her in a few magazines, and love her background. She has some of her work exhibited in the building, and I encourage you guys to check it out. Oh yeah- it’s free 24/7!!
Local textile artist Elizabeth Anyaa delights the senses with avant-garde wall art and mixed-media sculptures made with the ancient technique of felting.
